Uconnect 8.4 RE3 is the mid-cycle Panasonic 8.4-inch non-navigation head unit - same face as RE2 but with refreshed firmware and faster boot. No built-in maps; RE3 is the non-nav sibling of RB5.

RE3 is non-nav. If maps draw on NAV, you have an RB-series unit instead. RE3 and RE2 differ mainly by firmware revision and processor speed - the part number sticker is the cleanest way to tell them apart.

Top of the chassis label. Three 7mm bolts release the radio behind the trim bezel.
Format on the label: TM9##### / T0MYD##### / A3C####### / A2C#######. Example: A3C2117440.
