RET Alpine is a lower-volume Alpine-audio MyGIG variant sharing the 6.5-inch HDD-nav touchscreen platform with REL/REQ but carrying its own service-parts line. Typically fitted to specific export and option-code combinations through 2013.

RET is uncommon. The chassis part number is the deciding signal - RET carries the P05064055 and P05064127 prefixes. If your part number begins with P05064053 you have REL, not RET. Always confirm the part number against this page before purchasing.
Where to find your serial number
Top of the chassis label, near the rear edge. Radio removal is required - the lock-state UI does not expose the serial on screen. Two T20 Torx on the side rails on most applications.
Format on the label: TQ1AA / TT1AA / T**AA (10-character T-prefix). Example: TQ1AA5520087.
How to enter the code once you receive it
Touchscreen four-digit keypad on the locked screen. Tap the digits then the green check (lower right). The CODE soft key recalls the keypad if dismissed.
Why your radio is locked
Loss of constant 12V - battery disconnect, dead battery, or radio removal.
If you entered the wrong code
Three wrong codes triggers a 60-minute "WAIT" countdown. Keep ignition in RUN or ACC while the timer runs.
