Is this your radio?
REJ Alpine is the Jeep-specific Alpine-audio MyGIG variant - 6.5-inch touchscreen MyGIG hardware paired with the Alpine premium amp package and tuning specifically for Jeep cabins (Grand Cherokee WK, Commander, Wrangler JK Sahara/Rubicon). Audio bias favours the front-stage surround used in those vehicles.
Chrysler vehicles with Chrysler REJ Alpine
- 2008-2013: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK Overland, Summit (Alpine premium)
- 2008-2013: Jeep Commander Limited (Alpine premium)
- 2008-2013: Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara, Rubicon (Alpine audio option)
REJ part numbers carry the P05064191, P05091508 and P82208905 prefixes - the P82208905 range in particular is a Jeep-MOPAR-only service number. If your part number begins with P05064247 or P05064248 you have a Harman REZ, not Alpine REJ.
Where to find your serial number
Top of the chassis label, near the rear edge. On Wrangler JK the radio bezel pulls forward with clips only (no screws on the face); on Grand Cherokee WK there are two 7mm bolts at the bottom corners of the trim. No on-screen serial display while locked.
Format on the label: TQ1AA / TT1AA / T**AA (10-character T-prefix). Example: TT1AA6620475.
How to enter the code once you receive it
Touchscreen four-digit keypad on the locked screen. Tap the digits then the green check. Use the lower-left CODE soft key to recall the keypad if dismissed.
Why your radio is locked
Battery disconnect, dead battery, jump-start failure, or removal of the radio during dash service.
If you entered the wrong code
Three wrong codes triggers a 60-minute "WAIT" countdown. The timer counts down only with 12V applied. The correct code clears the lock permanently until the next power loss.
