RBY is the Alpine premium single-CD/cassette variant primarily fitted to the early-2000s Town & Country and Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Overland with the Infinity speaker package. Externally similar to RBT but tuned for the rear-cabin entertainment harness wiring used in long-wheelbase minivans.

RBY uses its own part-number block - P05064383, P05091519, P05091609, P05140895, P56038583. If your part number falls outside these ranges you likely have RBT or RBL instead. The rear-seat-entertainment AUX inputs on the chassis back are present only on RBY.
Where to find your serial number
Top of the radio chassis. On RSE-equipped vans the chassis is bolted in with two extra harness retainers - unclip these before sliding the unit forward. Removal uses two T20 Torx on the side rails plus a single 7mm bolt at the bottom centre of the bezel.
Format on the label: TQ1AA / TT1AA / T**AA (10-character T-prefix). Example: TT1AA3320194.
How to enter the code once you receive it
Power-up shows "CODE - - - -". Use preset buttons 1-4 to step each digit. Press preset 5 to confirm. RBY in minivans with RSE may briefly cycle the rear screen on confirm; ignore the flicker.
Why your radio is locked
Battery disconnect, dead battery, RSE harness service, or removal of the head unit.
If you entered the wrong code
Three wrong codes triggers "WAIT" with a one-hour countdown. Keep ignition in ACC so the timer counts down.
